Contract Staff
As an alternative to the Retained Search & Selection service, candidates may be presented who can commence on an agreed period contract.
There is a minimum contract period of 1 month but that may be extended on a month by month basis as required thereafter.
There is an option to transfer the selected individual to the client's permanent staff at any time. If this anticipated it is important to establish that the individual is interested in the possibility of such a transfer before the assignment commences. An agreed Transfer Fee is established at the beginning that progressively reduces as the Contract continues beyond the initial 1 month period

Contract Terms
All contract arrangements are billed weekly and invoices are due for payment within seven days.
Contracts may be written as an hourly, daily or weekly rate as agreed with the selected individual contractor. The agreed rate includes the allowance for Superannuation, Sick, Carers, Public & Annual Leave. The Rate is only charged for time actually worked.
A Service Fee equal to 15% of the agreed fee payable to the contractor is added to the Invoice and is retained by BlueQ
A additional fee of 8% is charged to cover Payroll Tax obligations and Workers Compensation Insurance.

Retained vs Success Requests
The task of identifying the required individual is usually undertaken with an agreed retainer of $2,000. This Retainer is deducted from BlueQ Service Fees once the assignment commences
If no Retainer is to be paid, then BlueQ will still commence the search but the resources invested will not be as great as for a Retained agreement.
